Sciatica

Sciatica refers to irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve, the largest nerve in the body. It typically causes sharp, burning, or radiating pain that travels from the lower back through the hips, buttocks, and down one or both legs. Common causes include herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and muscle imbalances. Symptoms can range from mild discomfort to severe pain, numbness, or weakness in the affected leg.

In Chiropractic care, treatment for sciatica focuses on relieving nerve pressure and restoring proper spinal adjustment. This often involves targeted spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapies, corrective exercises, and postural guidance to reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and support long-term recovery.
